Stakin To Discontinue Staking Support For Polkadex

An important message to our Polkadex delegators. Stakin has decided to discontinue our Polkadex validator by July 31st, 2022. We’d like to thank our delegators for their support!

As the unbonding period on Polkadex is 28 days, we’d recommend redistributing your $PDEX to another validator as soon as possible. You can find instructions on how to withdraw your stake or nominate other validators below.

On the Polkadot JS app, go to the Polkadex Mainnet. Navigate to the “Staking” tab and select account actions. On the right-hand side, you will see the different validators you’ve staked with, and you can select “Stop” to stop delegating and thus unbond your assets. A step-by-step guide on staking your Polkadex can be found in the video below.

Kindly note that you stop receiving staking rewards if you fail to remove your nomination when the Stakin validator node goes offline – unless you are already nominating a few validators

We’d like to once again thank our delegators for their support, and we look forward to continuing our ongoing development and efforts within the proof-of-stake ecosystem.

DISCLAIMER: This is not financial advice. Staking, delegation, and cryptocurrencies involve a high degree of risk, and there is always the possibility of loss, including the failure of all staked digital assets. Additionally, delegators are at risk of slashing in case of security or liveness faults on some protocols. We advise you to do your due diligence before choosing a validator.
