Avail Mainnet launch and How to Stake AVAIL

After several months of testnet support, we launched officially Avail network on mainnet, on July 23th.

Avail is a modular blockchain that maintains a record of transactions and verifies the accessibility of the data. Avail's primary objective is to enhance the availability and organization of blockchain transaction data, in order to make Web3 more scalable and interoperable.

Learn how to Stake AVAIL and get staking rewards:

AggLayer, the Aggregated Blockchain Thesis

One of the most pervading issues around Ethereum right now is fragmentation. Developed by Polygon Labs and a few other participants, the AggLayer seeks to tackle that and become a bridge for moving assets to and from other EVM and non-EVM chains.

Initia: an Overview

Initia is a new protocol known as “the Network for Interwoven Rollups”. It aims to abstract complexities from traditional multichain systems and foster a more scalable environment of interconnected app-specific blockchains.

MATIC to POL upgrade: the latest update

On September 4th, POL replaces MATIC as the native gas and staking token for Polygon PoS. While initial plans hinted at a manual MATIC to POL migration process, it seems like it will actually be much more automated, smoother, and easier for MATIC holders.

If you are staking MATIC, there’s actually nothing to do. MATIC stakers will be able to withdraw their staked MATIC (and rewards) as POL. Staked MATIC will keep accruing staking rewards as well, so there is no need to unstake if you want to just keep holding and earning.

👋 See you next month,
