Learn about E-Money (NGM)
E-Money is a Proof-of-Stake blockchain built on Tendermint and Cosmos SDK. NGM is E-Money’s native cryptocurrency. The e-Money protocol is designed to create a variety of interest-bearing currency-backed stablecoins based on various world currencies. Each token is backed by an audited asset reserve denominated in the underlying currency. The Euro (EUR), Swiss Franc (CHF), Swedish Krona (SEK), Norwegian Krone (NOK), and Danish Krone (DKK) are examples of currencies supported by e-Money, and there are many additional currencies set to launch. Furthermore, the value of e-Money's tokens fluctuates by the interest earned on reserve assets. This means that holders profit from the interest earned on their stable assets while safely storing them in their wallets. The e-Money blockchain enables instant payments at scale and includes a DEX for simple currency conversion.
